台北車站附近有一位90歲的老阿嬤「林蜂」，早年喪夫喪子，2009年相依為命的二兒子又成了植物人，龐大的醫藥費壓的老阿嬤喘不過氣來，只好每天推著輪椅賣口香糖維生，而且存摺內連800元都不到，她只希望有善心人士願意雇用她，讓兒子的醫藥費有所著落。滿頭白髮，臉上佈滿皺紋的林蜂老阿嬤，在台北車站路旁，拉開嗓門吃力的叫賣口香糖高齡89歲的林蜂阿嬤，連腰都挺不直，沒福氣在家享清福，而是在路旁風吹日曬賣口香糖。丈夫跟大兒子很早就過世，相依為命的二兒子原本是公務員，但在10年前罹患糖尿病失明雙腿截肢，2009年9月更惡化成植物人臥病不起，也壓垮母子倆的生計。說到眼眶泛著淚光子，母子倆的所有存摺，加起來不到800元存款，賣口香糖外加老人年金，一個月也只有1 萬出頭，根本付不出兒子的龐大醫藥費。四周圍人來人往，停下腳步買口香糖的不多，伸出援手的更是少之又少，林蜂老阿嬤只希望有多點工作機會，好讓她堅強地照顧癱瘓兒子。
