Have been running a floor hockey league for 8yrs at Booker T Washington Center paying the same flat rate for gym rental every year. Then after getting approval to play there again this year. On the day I go to pay fee and to my surprise they tell me the rate is double now take it or leave it. Oh and did I meantion that they broke the news to me 2 days before we are to start the season? That is just poor business management in my book. Now with no where else to go on such short notice I have to pony up 500.00 out my own pocket so that we can play the season. We have donated equipment and even spent our own money repairing lighting and scoreboards over the years as well as each week coming into a messy gym that has required me and my brother to arrive 1 hr early each week to clean before we even play our games.....The bottom line her thats BS!!!!!!! not once have we complained and this is how we are treated? If we werent backed into a corner I would donate our money elsewhere... extremely dissapointed in the managements greed in what is supposed to be a "community center" BS!!!!
